Default Squeak

I have a 2000 z28, and there is a brutal squeak from the rear passenger side of the car and it drives me nuts. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a squeaky shock... gotta figure this out its driving me nuts! Thanks for any help or advice!

Can you definitely isolate it as occurring from outside the vehicle? If so, do you have any aftermarket suspension parts? If not, have you recently opened **** up in the back, like the spare tire area or change out any rear taillights?

Not on the stock ones. Take a look inside the spare tire area just to be sure everything's tight, spare tire rubbing on the wheel well maybe? Only happen when going over bumps in the road? Bounce it up and down and see if you can duplicate the noise.

The noise would likely be a bad shock, aging control arm or panhard bar bushing, or bad exhaust insulator/hanger.

i had a squeak coming from the rear of my car once and it was the upper shock bushing in the rear. Lubed it up and the noise was gone.
