Help! I have an odd situation 99' trans am WS6 m6
recently my bird started acting crazy. When i unlock my doors or lock them using remote, my headlamp doors open than closes than make a grinding noise like its still trying to close. When i turn on my lights, its fine, but when i shut them off and headlight doors close it grinds gain, really loud.

You need to replace the headlight motor on the side that is grinding. Some people just replace the gear, which is harder, but saves $$. AC Delco motor $120, NAPA plastic gear $11, Ebay Brass gear $45.

Yes I would say trans Am's are wierd, my alarm goes off evertime a thunder storm comes with real bad lighting. So I would say yes to your motor problem and replace the gear.
