Exhaust Leak?
My car has a borla adjustable exhaust on it and usually when it rained or when i washed it in the middle of the car the exhaust would leak a mixture of oil and water so i was thinking it was just getting some oil wet and making it drip. But yesterday i just installed my subs and now it leaks every time i start the car. So does anyone know whats happening why is it leaking in the middle of the car?

Well oil and water dont mix, and that looks mixed. Looks like the carbon buildup in the pipe got wet and its dripping down, maybe theres some water in you exhaust and you're not aware of it.

well how come its leaking in the middle? And after its been wet and then dry when i start it up the stuff that comes out of the exhaust is different then what leaks out. And i don't know why it looks like it mixed but when you see it its actually oil in water.

I dont know man, I was only taking a stab at it, theres no reason you should have water in your exhaust. The only thing I can think to do from looking at those pics is take it apart right there and see what, if anything, pours out.

It looks like you have an exhaust leak at that joint. Is it where the y-pipe meets the Borla system or is it in the y-pipe (I can't quite tell)? Take a look at the joint, there might be a small hole allowing the exhaust to come through, and the liquid should be carbon and condensation from inside the pipe. Mine did the exact same thing, only at the y-pipe and Borla joint. A small weld or adjusting/tightening of the joint should fix it.

Oh, and in your pictures, it looks like carbon build up around the lower part of your joint, so from that, I would think leak. Start the car after it's been sitting, you might see it come out.

and ya its leaking at where they come together but if i don't get it fixed do you think its a big deal, it just sometimes leaks not all the time. Just when there is moisture in the exhaust.

It's not a huge deal, but in all actuallity (spelling?), it will always leak, whether you see liquid or not. I welded mine because it sounded annoying, and I was tired of cleaning the floor of the garage.
