Default Need Help... Bad Vibration

Alright so my dad owns a 1999 TA, same as mine but blue and a few more mods (12 bolt Moser rear, torque arm, coilover adj shocks, TCI Streetfighter tranny)... Well he has a bad vibration somewhere in the drivetrain, whether he is driving or sitting in park and revving the car up. The higher in RPM's he goes the worse the whole car shakes.

The rear end has been checked and the torque converter has been replaced 3 times since he got it from his friend in March (2 broken TCI's then finally went to a Vigilante).

The car has been to 2 different places and getting ready to go to a 3rd and we have no idea what to look into next.

Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

have you checked them to see for yourself. don't go by what others say. see for yourself always, it'll save you time in the long run. if not that, check your front struts. if they are worn out, then the only thing up front cushioning your load are the springs which are only for controling your ride height. so check those things out and let us know how you make out

If it vibrates while the car isn't moving it's not anything behind the engine. Check the engine mounts, maybe your shimmy dampner is going bad(do the automatics have these? I don't know)

If the vibration ocurs when the car is not moving, then check all the motor mounts and the transmission mount and replace as req'd.

If the vibration occurs when the car is moving especially at higher speeds then the most likely cause if that the pinion angle is off. Check and adjust as req'd. If the pinion angle is ok, then I would look at the shocks and struts as these could be worn and need replacement.
