strange vibration at 65+

Default strange vibration at 65+

sup guys im getting a strange vibration past 65mph and it gets worse the faster i go but when i get on the breaks it goes away i feel it through my *** and a little through the shift **** i also just finished getting the rear end rebuild after throwing a pinion bearing any clues

maybe the thrown bearing could have hurt your U joint. i would start with that

have you checked to see if your tires are balanced and proper air psi??? start small before going too far in dept. my weights fell off my rear tire the other day and i fell into the same problem

i would get your driveshaft balanced. i bet thats what it is. i know from experience. and it doesnt cost much to get a shop to check it, maybe $30-$50. and i just had be rear end rebuilt and the pinion started leaking, the driveshaft caused that. good luck man. let us know what it is.

anyone thought about checking you're tranny and torque arm mounts?????? i had the same vibration and it was the torque arm bolts, 3 bolts hold it in place but i only had 1 the other 2 bolts were ripped in half

some bolts are alot cheaper than having to pay at a rear end shop for un-neccesary things

LT1s have the notorious "vibeshaft" it a very good chance that your driveshaft is out of balance. get one off of an LS1 car to fix it. plus they are aluminum

I had this issue as well and getting a front end alignment fixed mine.

i went and got my drive shaft balanced and got u u-joints and it took care of that
