Default Silicone Wipers

Anyone tried them??

I've sold my Camaro but I've bought everything from $20+ per blade Bosch wipers to the Auto Zone brand that Cost $5 a blade. They last the same amount of time and do the same job. It's getting annoying. I'm in Florida and I guess the heat and humidity just kill the wipers. Within 2 weeks they start chattering. After that, it's all down hill from there. Rain-X, no Rain-X it doesn't matter.

Silicone Wipers worth it??

I have them, forgot the brand and price. I'm in FL too but I have been keeping the car in the garage. Going on 4 years and they're like new still.

if you use rain-x, do NOT get the silicone wipers.

That, and they should work fine with the climate, though if it ever, ever, gets cold around your car (about 50 or lower)... they will die instantly.

I forgot I moved to Texas for six months and it was my DD. I used to come out to ice on the car every morning, even had a freak snow storm in Feb or March. Wipers are fine still.

I'm running the PIAA silicone wipers from TireRack and they are great! (I chose them because they have refills and stock readily available all the time.)

What brand are you running?
I did the Tri-Edge silicone blades... snow killed them instantly.

I really have no idea, I forgot long ago. One thing I do know is that I've owned 4 vehicles at one time and always drove a work van and the silicone wipers on my camaro out lasted them all.
