how long does it take to do !air? when the car is already in the air waiting for headers to be taken off how long does it take to remove the air system? are there any negatives of just keeping it there other then the fact that its big, ugly, and sounds stupid? for example does it mess with performance or air/fuel etc.

If you removing the air get rid of it and all the plumbing. Excess weight on the drag strip. Removing all the air lines makes the engine bay look much better. Nothing to gain power wise just a cleaner lighter car.
