magnaflow imho

borla just sounds like a straight pipe (pretty much is)

if you want that sound, just have a local shop fab you something up and then buy some borla tips

Depending on what else is done to your car, you may not like what the Borla would sound like.....I have it and wouldn't ever get rid of it but it can be a bit obnoxious @ times (raspy at certain rpm range) but oh so fing mean WOT.

i've had both. magnaflow sounds nice with lt's and a ORY, and especially with a cam. on a manifolds car with cats, its really quiet.

As for borla. it sounds ok on a stock exhaust. if you run LT's, i would recommended a catted y, that will help borla out alot.

I would recommend hooker.

Magnaflow, i dont like borla my buddy has it on his Cam'ed car it sounds sweet at times but its very loud, and i think it sounds raspy at times. I cant wait for my LT's and ORY with My Magnaflow catback!!! I love it! The best buy i ever had for my car so far, but then again my car is stock. and Borla is Way to expensive for the sound in my opinion.

Dude is asking about Cat-backs and you recommend he go out and get a HOOKER. Listen, we all love them Hookers, but c'mon...not the place or time.

I personally love that my previous owner put the premium magnaflow catback with dual tips on my car. It sounds beautiful and looks great even though its crooked!

Both are great exhausts. Magnaflow will be quieter than the Borla. I have the Borla and it is loud (especially with long tubes).

Check out LS1Sounds.com and you will find plenty of sound clips. My vote goes to Magnaflow. Stainelss steel, great fitment, great quality, nice tone, and the price cant be beat!!

Just had my magnaflow put on last week, I'm in love w/ my car again.

I was running almost a straight pipe and it made it horribly loud, girls did NOT like it, adults didn't like it, the police didn't like it.

Now it has a NICE low growl to it.

true. there is a statistic floating around here somewhere that says magnaflow gets you laid more than any other exhaust

I had a girl in the car 2 weeks ago, and then the same girl in the car this past Monday night.

The first thing she said when I started it up was "wow your car sounds so much better, I like the low rumble it's making right now"

she didn't know I changed it until I started it up.
