i have the 1-3/4 hooker long tubes on my car with the 3 inch hooker y-pipe going into a 3 inch borla(full open) no cats and i couldnt be happier its VERY LOUD and has rasp but not as much as i expected, since i have an automatic its a bit quieter around town. it sounds deep and throaty until 2500 rpm's than it just screams lol you'll be happy with it.

yeah i dont see much of a difference with true duals, my car with just this exhaust ran 12.9 @ 109 which is pretty fast for just exhaust and no tune in my opinion.

I have the hooker catback on my car. It flows very well, and fits very good. With the stock cam it was very quiet until you step on it. It produces the standard fbody sound coming from one 3" pipe over the axle when you rev it. I have a lot of info on it in my sig with sound clips.

i had an aerochamber cat back (LTs and ORY). it was plenty loud. the sound broke up and popped between 2K and 3K then was awesome at WOT. i took it off and sold it to a friend with almost the exact same setup and its smoother quieter and doesn't pop or break up. i still haven't figured out what the difference is.

Your mods will make a difference. Mine was quiet stock but now I have H/C and live in a apartment and I will drive my truck if I go anywhere latenight just so I dont **** the neighbors off

I really like it though... sounds good but little to no drone when my convertor is locked on the hiway. I get lots of compliments on it

Have it here, with stock manifolds. It's quiet enough around town, but very nice when you get on the "go pedal" haha!

Check the sig. I love the sound. Not too loud inside. However I hate the dual tips on the car. Looking to replace them with C6 tips soon. I would love to hear Hooker LT's and ORY with Hooker CB...as this is the route I will be going.

Hey, I'm not sure if you've paid for it yet or not but marylandspeed.com
has the Hooker cat-back exhaust for $338 shipped. Check the sponser
link at the right side of this page.

I almost bought the Hooker kit, but I decided to go with the SLP LM2 since
it's stainless. Plus I wanted a little more of a performance tone at idle.

I have Hooker coated longtubes and they were great, fitment was better than the stock crap I took off. It went it on with no trouble at all, I would definitely buy their product again. Sounds great open header...
