Default another ebay header...

they say requires no modifications but seems too good to be true. anyone ever try installing these and how easy/hard was it? and do they even sound good? or are headers another thing "you get what you pay for."?

Well they obviously require a new y-pipe, so I wouldn't say no modifications.

To answer your question, though, I am running them and I'm pretty happy. You will have to grind the k-member a little bit and you will probably have to run a custom y-pipe as the collectors tend to point slightly upward.

new y pipe is fine as i can get my car into my buddies shop and have him weld on to it. as for the collectors-that should help because the people who had my car before my f-d up the exhaust so it hangs really low.

Hey man, i have these and i like them but just like most of them the coating still shines but have started turning blue, i picked up some power but not as much as if they had been equal lenth of corse.. i had a lift to put them on and the pass side slid right in but as for the driver side took some forcein but went in...the flange where it bolts to the head is thick and they do sound good...i give them a 8 out of 10....hopes this helps.

I can't tell you how many times these exact same headers have been posted over the past few months. At least a dozen. Probably a lot more.

well i gained some horsepower but they make more expensive types like the equal length or (tuned length) sets where every tube is the same length and your suppose to make like 25-44 more hp vs a standard header... but the "ebay" ones are not equal tubes..the number one and two cylinder exhaust port tubes are longer then the back tubes closest to the collecter....SLP makes a set of Equal length and they run like 949.00 so i went with the 180.00 ones...haha
