I'm sure anyone who bought the loud mouth 1 that has headers noticed it sounds like dog ****, I recently found that SLP has a upgrade for the loud mouth kit that makes it deeper and less raspy, anyone know anything about this yet????

yeah its called the loudmouth 2. you can buy just the LM2 resonator and replace your LM1.

Or just drop slp exhaust cause it sucks *** and get magnaflows! They are nice and deep.

Yeah I hated my LM once I got the new motor in. I swapped to a Moroso Spiral flow.

i think you're talking about the new power flo system they have.. i have the lm2 and its about as loud as lm1 w/ a little deeper more refined sound.

I liked the LM1 before the headers, with no cats it sounds like sh*t. I tried a chambered muffler in place of the I pipe but it didn't help much.

lm2 sounds great, much better than the lm1. its deep yet loud at WOT. for the price is a great catback

on my old 00 Z28 i had longtubes+ory+LM1= and yeah it was unbearable to drive, but was loud as ****. now i have an 02 Z28 thats cammed and everything with magnaflow and its pretty quiet and tame. u can barely notice my cam lope. been thinking of switching to something a bit more louder?

As mentioned it's the Powerflo upgrade. I'd be tempted to try it but for 300 bones I'm just too chicken to. I'd rather bite the bullet and pick up a Bassani Dual kit.

I just went to slponline and those guys have got to be ******* nuts. 300 bucks for two mufflers, 4 band clamps and a hanger. You don't even get the upgraded tips that the LM has come with for the last number of years. And what the hell is up with the LM costing 430 bucks now. I bought mine about 8 years ago when it was still a fairly new system and I paid just over 300 it. You'd think their stuff must be made of gold.

I have the Borlamouth right now and I love it at idle and wot but under throttle hate it. My friend has the tsp td's and his sounds ******* great. I'm probably gonna go that route or get a custom set made but first i'm gonna get some AFR's

I ran a LM for about 6 months. Great... once I did LT's and ORY... ran that for one month went to a magnaflow... much better. Now my big cam with the maganflow is LOUD at wot...
