You can get brand new GM 85mm MAF's for less than $30 on that site that lets you bid on things and has 4 letters in it's name. I think there is a small e in front and a big B in the middle and a couple of other vowels at the end.

You could just port your stock 75mm housing. the only thing you'd be out is time...and the cost of the die grinder, the carbide bits, the air compressor, tubing, etc. I've already got these things so it was a bit easier. eBay dumdumdum!!

I am so glad I read this thread. I was going to purchase the slp one from Fast toyz. Problem is how do you guys know which one on e__y is the right one for the car? I plan on getting the fast toyz lid and there ram air setup. If i can get a Gm one that would be great. Please point me in the right direction or maybe you can tell me which vehicle I should look this up under. Thanks Chris

anyone have a link to gm unit? i searched ebay but couldn't find it. what is required for the swap? I would assume a 85mm lid, an adapter harness for the maf, and a different bellow to connect the maf to the tb.

The MAF tables are way different then an 85mm one. And yes i know you need a tune once you switch them.

I dont know if Pace still sells the 85mm MAF. it was adjust with a resistor to work better
on the f-bodies. and it came with the wiring adapter for $170 i think...something like that.
It worked really good on the car i was in.

You will need an adapter, unless the unit you purchase comes with one.
You DO NOT need an 85mm lid or bellows. The stock bellows fits right on and the ID of an 85mm maf is the same ID of an airlid. You will need a boot to slide over the outside of your lid and over the outside of the maf.

Oh BTW, mine is an 85mm SLP and it runs great. I picked it up used with the adapter for 45 bucks

I also have the slp unit, and it works like a charm for me. The car runs better with it than the stocker did.
