Default made my own manual fan switch today.

I like to do things that i can put back to stock, i liked the slp fan switch, but not their $80 shipped price.

I figured i could build my own for less than that.

Here is the underhood wiring portion of it. Even with the nice weather proof connectors, and splitloom, nice "nx style" switch, im still way ahead of the slp one.

here is my underhood wiring.

and here is my console switches.

Questions, comments, feel free to ask, or e-mail me.

i have done the $4 mod in other cars, but im not a fan of splicing into $1000 wiring harnessed when you can avoid it.

both hi and low speed, selectable with a DPDT switch, and i used 3 47 ohm 1/2 watt resistors, so no ses lights.

Looks great, well done! I do a lot of wiring mods myself and have had no problems at all. It's just a mater of whether you have those skills or not. Somebody that twists wires together and tapes them with scotch tape will have plenty of problems.
