So a 600+ RWHP 454ci engine with a cam in the 260's would pretty much be a cop magnet, right?

I'm doing a full exhaust. 1 7/8' stepped to 2" LT's, FM merge 3' in and 4" out, back to a Magnaflow muffler but I'll have either one 4" cut-out after the FM or dual cut-outs right after each collector.

Uhm YES. Quite a few people have asked if i had a small cam. So that motor would hurt deaf peoples ears. From what i have heard a magnaflow would sound amazing with the setup your going to be running

Well, I have ~500 RWHP now with my 427ci. Grotyohann 1 7/8" LT's, no cats, into a merge and 3" all the way back to my Magnaflow. It sounds friggin great.

I was just looking into other systems for when my 454ci is done but after a long time now I see its probably the best system. Add a cut-out after the merge when I get the new system with the 4" merge exit back to the Magna and I'll be all set I guess.

Yours sounded so quite in the clip, I guess its deceiving in the clip though. Thats what mine will be like with the cut-out open then with the new engine.

Maybe i need to take a flyby clip then. Or possible rev it all the way up. I put the camera a good distance back so that it didnt pick up a lot of distortion.

With GMMG you need to run cats. W/O cats you get terrible rasp

Here is another vid, you can hear the rasp. I will be ordering a PowerPack bullet to put in the I pipe to help eliminate the rasp

My buddies 02 Z (stock internal) had same exhasut as me but with cats and had no rasp.

Have you thought of cutting up the cat back and doing something custom with the mufflers? think that would clean it up?

nope i like the GMMG. the powerpack will get rid of the rasp. Lots of people with GMMG have added the powerpack and have had great success

I ment basically changing the cat back piping. Not removing it all together.

But if the powerpack takes care of business no reason not 2.

Does the clip seem quiet on your comp torched? Its pretty loud in person.

Kinda what i was thinking.

When i listened to it on the VC itself I said "It's not that loud..."

Then when we hooked it up to the comp with mini subwoofers I actually got to hear it... Ya its loud...
