Default Broke my E-cutout switch (QTP)

I have a QTP cutout, that installed a day or so ago. Well.. the switch on it is dead. Is there a switch I can buy at a local parts store?

Yes, I replaced the switch that it came with because it was a bit too big to fit horizontal in the ashtray. I got a smaller one at Lowes in the electrical dept.
Its a "dual pole dual throw switch"

I want to get something a little smaller, I broke the switch itself, it just moves around limp in there. Kinda sucks because I've only had it on for a day.

The one I replaced it with looks just like this, its about 1/3 the size of the one that came with the cutout(QTP as well).

Did you check the fuse? How did you power the switch. Mine is connected to the cigarette lighter and I can't plug anything in there or it will blow the fuse...

I had to get the fuse at Radioshack

Check that first

Edit: damn you must have Superman strength. Were you man handling that switch lol.

Mines been fine for 18+ mons

I swear I was gentle! I don't like fixing things, it just broke or something! lol. It's really a pain in the *** because it broke, I have a big trip late tomorrow.. and its stuck open. hahaha.

If I'm feeling adventurous, I might create an on/off switch for my seat controls (if i cant find a switch thats spring loaded in the middle). This way, I could shut it off and if I hit the switch, it doesnt break the cutout. Side advantage is that people couldn't **** up my seat adjustments.

The switch is installed right by my powerseat controls. It feeds off of the power from there.

Fixed it. Have a DPDT switch and a toggle for the power, just so I dont mess up my seat adjustments. Works good now.
