also i was wondering which port design was used on the 1999 camaro heads. from what i have found. there is the Cathedral port and a rectangular port. can anyone clarify this. or which type i am going to have before i order the intake. and can you shoot me a part number for the intake gasket i will need to order?

Cathedral ports on LS1 heads. We do have a good special on the ported 241 cathedral heads. They come with manley valves and CAN be upgraded to the patriot golds (.650 lift) or the extremes (.660 lift) for the extra price of the springs, AND free shipping in the US. price for upgraded heads looks like $800 plus the cost of springs. These are already ported and include stainless valves.

Looks good, instead of a BBK intake (b/c it can heat soak) go with a FAST set up. You leaving your stock TB on there? Since you're doing a cam swap get an ASP UDP. Stock crank pulley has to come off anyways.
And make sure that the PRs are the correct length... In my cam i used 7.425s Are you getting new seats, seals retainers and locks too?

Wait a minute....underdrive pulleys...another special comes to mind. AND heads/intake.
Powerbond underdrive pulley with correct belts, and arp style bolt....$209 with free shipping
heads/intake combo is
Dart heads with Fast 92mm intake and 92mm cable throttle body...2495 shipped as well.

i was just trying to figure out which port design was on the 99 because when i looked for the intake gasket i realized they are just 8 rubber rings that set into grooves on the intake. whereas i looked under the 2000 model and it was 2 gaskets that have 4 catherdral style ports for each side
