Default SLP Dual/Dual vs Power Flo

I can get a good deal on a SLP dual/dual system but I keep thinking about getting a slp power flo. Does the dual/dual flow as well as the power flo? Would the dual/dual get me the same increase in hp as the power flo would? Thanks.

the HP is neglagable, the D/D will be a quieter then the Powerflow (assuming you mean the SLP LM 1/2 with the resinators at the end).

You'd be within 1-2 hp of each other, but the powerflo is INFINITELY louder. the dual dual is the quietest aftermarket setup out there.

I used to run the LM2 then went to a Borlamouth then a cutout with no muffler. So today I just put on the PowerFlo conversion kit and I love the way it sounds. Deep sound, not too loud, and no rasp. I'm working on getting a video up by tonight or tomorrow.

I run the dual dual setup with a cutout. The dual dual is perfect for daily driver use and it sounds pretty good with headers, no cats and a cam. You can cruise down the freeway and not have to worry about yelling to your passenger to hear. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Ditto. And it sounds pretty darn good at WOT too.

I love mine.

I just went outside and got some idling vid and will get some cruising vids then post it up. I absolutely love the way it sounds. Nice and quiet with a deep tone then I can open the cutout and go ***** out.

OP the dual/dual is gonna be more popular for the simple reason that is has been around longer and more people are familiar with it. People will be surprised at how good the powerflo sounds.

It is basically a LM2 exhaust with the addition of the two resonators before the tips. So you can buy a retrofit kit if you have a LM exhaust and it just adds the resonators and pipes needed. As far as loudness, the Powerflo is quieter because of adding the resonators.

I was imformed by David Hamburger himself that the dual dual setup on my car includes the powerflo muffler iirc. Is this the same "powerflo" muffler on today's "powerflo" setup? Either way, I love my setup. It is stealthy (still more bark and bite than ws6 exhaust) but when you mash the throttle, it sounds exotic-like to me. I don't know how to explain the sound but I for one love it!

The old dual/dual came with an oval muffler the new one is two bullets before the tips
