They can be but your gonna have to get under the car anyway and I installed mine from unerneath very easy! Word of advice you dont need O2 xtensions and its a good time to change your plugs.

MACs are short enough to not require O2 extensions

i like the price, i bought my used, so i gotta a GREAT deal on em
but since im building my motor, Im gonna port the inside of the MAC's, and add longer 3bolt 3" collectors to them, since im going with a bigger dual exhaust this time

I like them alot great ground clearance, I also added Random Technologies Metallic cats in my y-pipe. The sound is raspy like everyone says they are but no complaints from me I gained .2 in the 1/4 mile and it was pretty humid out. I also found mine used for a good price. I also ported the inside near the flanges the weld was ugly looking and Im sure helped out a little.

sorry i didnt go to the track with the macs, and the hooker track time was in the middle of the summer down here in texas so the weather wasnt that good. If I had to do it all over again, id still get the coated hookers.

The hp difference was this. 340 rwhp and 350 torque with the macs, and 346 362 torque with the hookers. then i got it tuned to 353 and 372 torque from MTI. It did gain a lot more hp than just the peak. It really pulls hard up high.
