Default Headers ONLY with Spiral Flows?

I thought I saw a post about this a while back. Has anyone tried this? Spiral flow mufflers mounted directly on the ends of the headers. Could maybe put some turn downs off the mufflers. Would it be that much louder than having an X pipe?

I was looking, but can't find the thread. Some dude with a pewter Z (cant remember his name to save my life!) has single chamber flows clamped to his headers. I don't know how much different the spiral flows would be but his sounds awesome.

The thread is in this section, it's a "poll" thread about spintecs and spiral flows I think.

I imagine that it would be pretty loud cause it would be right under you.

The spiral flows actually kept it tame on my 408 WS6. When I say tame, i mean not head-throbbing loud. I still got a ticket for having no mufflers when I had them on there.

My 408 with this setup was quieter than my friends 346 t-rex (same setup with bullets)

Was it loud enough to where you had to yell at your passenger just to talk?

I'm gonna say you would have to increase your voice a pretty good amount. Not something I would ever want to DD

Yup it's gonna be loud. I've got DynoMax bullets on my CETA and I'm switching to one chambers when I get back to the states this summer
