Because a ton of vehicles have the LS engines, not just F bodies
Guys with street rods, muscle cars with LS swaps.....etc....etc..
It does fit though, just need to cut a few things out of the way

I'm thinking of doing this, but need more specific info. I've read the hundreds of threads but would like specific info. if anyone has it or knows a good contact person at Edelbrock.
I currently run a 500HP heads/cam car (346 forged block) with no power adders intended in the future and am using the FAST 90/90 set-up with speed density tuning. The car needs more air right now more than anything. I'm running 10.75 now but am trying hard to run 10.50s. This is a drag-race only car so windshield wipers are already gone.
Will this Edelbrock Intake work good with my set-up?
What mm is the intake?
I have a Fiberglass Fabricators Inc. custom hood that already raises up higher than the original WS6 hood. Would this work?
What do you cut the wiper blade/plastic piece across the front windshield with so it will still look good?
Aftermarket fuel rails required?
What about the MAP sensor that currently hooks to the back of the FAST intake? Is the MAP sensor going to be able to read accurately the individual ports of air flow on the Edelbrock as it does on the FAST?
Can the FAST TB be used in conjunction with the Edelbrock Intake?
Any idling issues known with the intake?
True there's a new model that came out better for the F-Bodies?
Not trying to hijack, just need some good info.

I don't know that this intake would be the one for your setup. I would think your next step would be a single plane with a 4bbl TB setup.

Little bit of Info
Here is a fit chart. The PN 7140 is machined for standard 90mm throttle bodies. (The 7139 fits 3-bolt LS1 and Edelbrock 4-bolt 90mm). It's cut down a little in the front and includes an o-ring grooove for the throttle. I think it's the one you'd want.
I'd put my money on the XT over a Victor Jr. All of the dyno curves on it go straight up to 6500, no hint of nosing over. The eight equal length straight runners seem to make up for the 90° turn from the throttle body to the runner. Plus since you are speed density if you really want to get after it you could get a shop to convert the XT into a dual 4V throttle body tunnel ram!
