whats better a ls6 intake or the bbk ssi intake. i got the bbk intake but my tuner says to get the ls6 intake. any help what wrong with the bbk intake

Stick with the bbk if thats what you have. It's supposed to be worth around 5-10 hp over the ls6

if you can clean up the rough flashing in the runners, should help. only problem with that intake is the weight of it and the heat it will hold over long drives. still a nicer looking intake than the ls6.

I seem to remember a few dyno graphs where they made the same power. Id sell it and buy an LS6 myself.

get the LS6. not really much of a performance gain but gotta love the GM stock look. the bbk is better for boost though.

I would save some money, sell the bbk , and get a fast 92/92. It's worth another 20-25rwhp. But if thats not in your budget I don't think you would see any difference going to an LS6 unless you drive the car on long trips because of the heat soak of the bbk.

A friend has the BBK in his LS1 Blazer.....looks much nicer than even the FAST.....holds the heat more, as said above. I like the looks so much more....Keep it, unless your goal is high HP..then get a FAST.
