SLP SFC's with LT's
anyone have this setup? will they work together? bought the LT's at a really good price and i still need to stiffen up the chassis. got a friend who was gonna cut me a deal on the SFC's as well but not sure the will fit. recommendations anyone? thanks in advance!

Yeah I have SLP SFC's and QTP long tube headers, no problems at all between the two. Doesn't even come close. I think the Y pipe might be what you have to look at. I just modified the SLP Y I already had to fit the QTP's and in the available space. The SLP SFC's are a "must have item" IMO. Doesn't take long to dimple the rear quarter pannels without them. You can see the Y to subframe separation in this pic:

Don't take it as written in stone but I do believe that SLP SFC's have clearance problems between the front brace and the Y-pipe if you run FLP's. Do a search on PPC headers, there are some pictures posted by Gordon of a guy's 35th SS with SLP Bolt-on SFC's and his headers.

By the way..... the PPC prototyping was done with SLP SFCs on the car .... so, Thay fit fine.
Also have been proven to fit with Kenny Brown Double Diamonds.

I had Kooks with Kooks ypipe and SLP subframes and had no problems - it fit perfect. Now the question is will the Kooks headers, QTP ypipe work with the SLP subframes? I'll see in a few weeks
