Default Who designed the coil pack spears????

You know I've gotten changing the plugs down to like 20 minutes on my car but.................................

Who put the spikes on the coil pack brackets??? Why?

I take the passenger side off to take the plugs in/out but I have to have the pack in there and attach the wires and every single time I get scraped to hell on my left arm.

I took a 3" cutoff wheel to mine. That actually made them worse. I rounded them off after that.

I was wondering the same thing cuz those things are a PITA First time I did em it was actually pretty quick but the second time I had hell with the passenger side an scraped the s#!t out of my hands and arms, (those things are pointless if you ask me) so I took off the brackets, too. Alot easier

I believe they are there to hold on the fuel rail covers that are on the Vettes.

It only takes ~1 minute each side to take the coil packs off, I started doing that rather than suffering the wrath of the coil spikes

They are indeed for fuel covers. They work quit well at laying a hand open though!!!
