Default Oxygen sensor removal help!!!

Can't get an oxygen sensor out of the cat. Will penetrating oil hurt the sensor?

Thanks

Is it all right for some of the anti seize to smudge on the tip of the o2 sensor?

Just on the threads and don't get it everywhere and you'll be fine.

Thank you guys, this is my first attempt at a header install, I am doing a set of edelbrock shorties (I know about LT's) Everything has gone surprisingly well, I got the o2 sensor out it was a little buggered up (dealership) but I was able to get it back in and solid including the anti sieze. Just waiting for my gasket set for the install. I was going to use anti-seize on the header bolts as well, or should I? I noticed a yellow type powder on the bolts when I took them out. should I use that stuff instead? Thank you for your help.

A dab probably wouldnt hurt them, but not alot b/c you dont want the bolts backing out anyway. Also, the headers arent something you are going to be removing frequently anyway (hopefully).

Good luck on the rest of the install, I just got my new LT's this morning...now gotta get a y-pipe.
