Yeah kind high but you get what you pay for, their kit includes new wires, I wonder if the stock ones work.

We have some in stock and ready to ship. They are pricey but I've seen a set on a motor and it is by far the best looking aftermarket valve cover set up I've seen.

Can the valvecovers be ordered in chrome and are the wires available in red?

Thanks!

Ditto on what Matt said. We used these on a 375ci solid roller a few weeks back and they are the best option for someone looking for new valvecovers/coil relocation. Pricey.. yes, but they do work extremely well.

http://www.katechengines.com

Why didn't GM do that from the factory?

The LS1 wouldn't have been called an ugly engine if they had.

Do they sell the relocation kit seperate from the valve covers?

I thought the covers were only like $550 ? Then if you have them custom engraved like the ones above the price goes up.

Do they have diamonds embedded in them, or are they stuffed with $100 bills? If you got $800 to throw at valve covers you need to donate to my racing fund. It's a good cause.

Just checked you can get the covers for $560. The relocation kit and wires are $320. Its just 2 brackets and bolts though, nothing complicated. Whats up with the C5-R covers i have seen those for around the same price and they look wicked, anyone check into those?

Jeezus h. freaking chryst on a crutch! $880? Anybody that pays that much for a set of cast aluminum valve covers has WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too much money, and doesn't have to work very hard to get it.

$320+ for a relocation kit...too rich for me...

Anyone got good pictures of how they did the relocation brackets? I know I can get any length LS1 plug wire I want. Maybe that won't be too hard to make.

I wish people would stop buying the overpriced BS that sometimes comes out for these motors. We would stop getting gouged for dumb things like valve covers then.

I am sick of the prices on some of our parts also
If I ever learn how to TIG weld, i would sell some nice fabbed covers for less than half the prices of whats out there now
blah

I am personally to the pont that I want to VOMIT every time a new part hit the market. the cost is ABSOLUTELY LUDACRIS! In My entire life of racing car I have never seen VALVE COVERS that carry such a hefty tag. I personnaly bought the JFP relocation kit for my coils and felt ripped off, but then again I dont have the time to sit and fab up my own relocation kit. I could tell that at the abolute most the JFP kit probably manufacturing cost was less than 50.00 minus the wires. Can anyone say 100%+ profit? This kit from Katech is killer, but the cost......give me a fookin break! that is just down right STUPID!

So from what I can see, all aftermarket rockers fit under with no spacers?
