Cool Mr Bling meets Mrs Bling - Chrome EWP

Ever since I heard the Meziere was going to have a Chrome LS1 Electric Water Pump, I started to drool... Once I found out the price, I choked, but told myself, since I also show my car at Car Shows, why not. So I bit the bullet and ordered one.

This thing is very shiny, it looks like pure chrome, look at the reflections from it....

Here's some pics of my new Bling for my SS...

I have put chrome water pumps on 3 of my Small Block projects & just a little advise, those chrome sealing faces where it meets up with the block can leak due to the fact that wet chrome is very slippery and also make sure that you get the radiator hose on it really good too because it is also more slippery. On the Much Cheaper Chrome SBC pumps I like to take some sand paper or a grinding wheel and rough up the surface where the hose goes on the pump.

It was pretty embarrassing a couple of months ago when I had just taken out my Elcamino that I had just gotten on the road and met up with some friends and started up my car and revved it up just to hear a big ole boom and see all kinds of steam coming out from under my hood, my radiator hose had blown off of the water pump and sprayed water all over my headers.

On the other hand you have a very beautiful water pump there.

Too bad the performance didn't meet expectations on those EWP's, but they do look sweet for showcar stuff. It would match my chromed valvecovers and coil brackets.

OK, this made me a little nervous. I just bolted mine on the car and it is going to make a Silver State classic run. Is there anything I should be worried about or is it just that they dont free up the HP that was expected?

Bill,
Stop it, your car already hurts my eyes from all the bling.
Its going to mess up the traps at norwalk next year if you dont stop. (I guess your looking at a 738 mph trap like Darren )

Ok, and from 3k on up means? It's not driven by the engine so what does 3k on up have to do with anything?
