High flow cats will help some with the gasoline smell. I love the smell of a car with no cats. However I just got my duals on and with the hiflow cats it still smells as strong as my single exhaust did with no cat

You probably picked up some low-end and midrange power output.
Running too little exhaust restriction for a given airflow causes a portion of the incoming fuel/air charge to be discharged into the exhaust during valve overlap. This is fact.
As stated by another poster, you probably gave up some top-end power. Depending on how you use the car, it may be a good compromise.
Most engines (except dedicated drag racers) spend very little of their time in the high RPM range, so why not optimize your engine's efficiency for where you use it?

:secr et2:Yes. At least in my case it did. Got rid of the duals and went with the set up in the sig, lost less than 5 hp and TQ. Lot less fumes and the car actually runs better. Dyno tuned each time. Car is still a beast and the only way I could tell anything was lost was on the dyno sheet printout, driving it is very hard to notice...
