Default A4 Mod's for bottom end torque

As stated what are the best mods for low end torque?
I always hear about increasing top end and I would rather get from 0 to 80 quick than going 150mph.

The real part about increasing top end is to have the car in the higher rpm that you're using. Going from 0 to 80 or 0 to 150 makes no difference. If you're going wot, you'll still be in the higher rpm's.

Low end torque is used for part throttle driving. The whole area under the curve debate. The more low end, supposedly the faster off the line.

What was suggested already in this thread is a good start.

What kind of $ does it take to have a stall done and is a Trans cooler a must?
What would be a good mild street stall?

I would take it to someone I have never fooled with autos.
4K sounds high for the street and there are no 1/4 mile strips around here just 1/8 and this does not intrezst me.

4k isn't too much for the street, lots of guys run 4k's on the street. best bet to find cost, would be to call your local shops and get estimates.

I wander which would be cheaper gears or converter? With the A4 I would think no higher than 373's.

Well right now I have factory 323's and if I am changing might as well go 373.
What brand of gears are you running?

i would go with yank or FTI for the stall and motive or richmond for the gears
3600 and 373's are a good combo for the street.

Stall that **** man. Go with an FTI3600 stall.
Took a ride in a car with one, damn near drove like stock.
Pulled like a mother ****** under WOT.
