New FAST intake manifold = modest gains
Does anyone have experience with this product yet?
I remember someone here saying that they were testing a prototype and it produced modest gains (10HP) in a naturally aspirated bolt-on car with stock displacement.
Is this correct; also is the price approxiumately $800?
Thanks..

My take is that is fw hp, as engine development is most often done on engine dynos.
I think you are correct on the sticker price.

They did have dyno numbers put in a mag and even a dyno graph of a stroker (400+cubes).
I think it was one of the Vette rags but not to sure which one. I tried searching but couldn't find it on their website

The best thing was that the setup made power from 2000 all the way up. It was not just a peak gain.

The Fast web site says 20 hp over the LS1. So what is the gain of the LS6 over the LS1? Then the difference will be what the LSX is over LS6. I guess that the LSX won't bring us as many ponies as I would like but does provide other benefits over the stock LS6 design.
