It's very nice system. Direct bolt on to your stock exhaust manifold/cats.

I have it and I always get compliments. I have numerous videos of my car running w/ longtube headers..

My buddy had them and sounded nice and deep, wake you right up at WOT.
He had his dyno'd and it showed nice improvement top end.
The tips on them kinda suck though, the point down at an angle.

I had this setup with longtubes & no cats, and it wasn't raspy IMO. It sounded pretty deep. I have had people stop me and ask what kind of exhaust I had installed. They wanted to know what exhaust I was using that sounded that deep.

I'm running without cats currently.

In my videos, there is one w/ just the true duals and the rest of them w/ true duals however not tuned.

I'm going to try to get a new video. The car is now tuned and it's M6 instead of auto in the old videos.

To describe in words, the bassani true duals sounds like a mustang exhaust without the hollow sound, much beefier tone.

i have it with jethot lt's and no cats... i love the sound, it can be quiet at idle and when cruising but once the rpms get over about 2500 or so then it really opens up and WOT is loud but not obnoxious loud... i only have 2 complaints... first is the tips, which i bought the ebay 3.5" outlet corsa clones before i put the exhaust on... the second thing is the whole system is put together with clamps... i had constant problems with mine twisting and shifting no matter how hard i tightened the clamps... almost everytime after i got back from a spirited drive i had to adjust my tips because they were crooked... this problem is easily solved by getting it welded together, just make sure to leave the center section clamped that way you can easily take it out, swap your clutch/trans/etc... other than those 2 small issues i love it... mine isn't raspy at all and it definitely has a distict tone unlike most of the dumped systems with "x-brand" muffler

I ran around with Bene when he was still in the states and heard his setup regularly. IMO, it's definitely one of the absolute best sounding LS1's I've heard.

I wasn't talking about the duals it self but some guy came on here with a video of an orange camaro and posting it under every thing and didn't say what exhaust it was or anything.

Did it take alot of work mating them up to LT's? I have the Bassani but still on the stock manifolds.

no it shouldn't take much... i don't like the clamps so what i did was get a flowmaster ball flange kit... it's 3" on one side to fit over the collector on the longtubes and 2.5" on the other end to fit over the bassani system... just have an exhaust shop trim up the pipes a little and weld the flange kit on and it will all bolt up and you won't have to worry about clamps slipping and causing leaks... the part # for that kit is 15925

you'll find pics at the bottom of this page showing what it took to modify the bassani to fit to headers. not much really.
