Default dumped Y or X

should i go with a TSP y pipe with a bullet dumped or a TSP x pipe with bullets dumped...Y is way cheaper...tell me the advantages and disadvantages of both besides the x pipe is 5 times as much ?

xpipe will flow more (generally) and sound better than any ypipe

i ran a bullet on the end of my Ypipe for a while. raspy and loud

TDs with magnaflow 4x9s sounds MUCH MUCH better

my tsp ypipe had alot of rasp to it especially had higher rpm's. my tsp td's sound alot deeper and have a more muscle car tone to it. possibly ground clearance would be a tad better in a ypipe but if you tuck it up nice either one should be fine. If you don't want a real loud car then ypipe would be the route to take IMO. pm if you want some sound clips of each one

They are homemade with a summit X pipe and two 18 inch dynomax bullets and turn-downs. Its similar to TSP Rumbler system I believe. I was thinking like $100 bucks. Sorry you're so far away

Seriously man, don't dump a bullet muffler off a Y pipe. I assume it would be just like my dumped Loudmouth. Sounds GREAT idling (especially cammed), but it's WAYYYY too loud just driving. And I nearly deafened my neighbor when I passed him at WOT in his convertible. He told me he couldn't hear a normal volume conversation for 4-5 hours. Lol. REDICULOUSLY loud and raspy. But fun to **** off the neighbors.

you can always add a cheap i-pipe from dynomax and run it out back to kill some of the interior resonance.

something you can do later...when money allows.

i did that...and stuck a spare bullet behind the axle with a turn down. so it had 2 bullets in it. sounded much nicer than just dumped with one

Y-pipe with a bullet dumped is gonna sound like **** IMHO. True duals with an x-pipe or h-pipe is the way to go
