Default Best E-cutout DMH?

Im seting up for LTs Im going with pacesetters..
but also looking for a nice electric cutout.
i have been hearing good things about dmh should be better then qtp.
just wondering if anyone else have heard of any others that are good and not too pricy.

also were would be the best placement.. I am planing on getting a custom y pipe using a flowmaster merge to 3".i want it to be ridiculous loud! thinking right after the y pipe..depending on ground clearance.

After seeing customers' cars with all of their different arrangements, the DMH customers seem to be the happiest. The overwhelming majority of owners that run QTP cutouts experienced a failure in the first year of ownership. Perhaps they have corrected this in the recent past.

Definitely DMH....no questions asked 4-year full replacement warranty. The funny thing is, many folks have received free warranty work after the 4-year period. If that's not service I don't know what is. My motor snapped off the mount plate and he simply told me to send it in and he'd fix it. I don't remember hitting anything, it was just gone one day. All I sent in was the mount plate and received back a fully functioning cutout two weeks later. Needless to say, I'm a customer for life!

I've been running DMH for 165,000 miles with no problems. Dave who is the owner is a great guy and will go out of his way to help you. DMH is the only company that has the 4 year warranty. Eveyone that I know that has a qtp has had to send it back to get it fixed. I have refferred a number of my customers to DMH and they all have been very happy with the product.

DMH Performance 20030-1 - DMH Performance Electric Exhaust Cutouts

* Exhaust Cutout, Electric, Aluminum, Bolt-On, 3 in. Diameter, Each
* Additional Info
o Substitute Part: QTP-QTEC30
The part number you requested is out of stock; however, the substitute item is very similar to the item you want.

I wonder why Summit dropped DMH and recommends QTP?

QTP FTW

Haha, I guess you failed to read where it says:

"The part number you requested is out of stock; however, the substitute item is very similar to the item you want."

Where does it say it recommends QTP? it's listed as a substitute item.

QTP isn't like terrible, but there's a reason these DMH cutouts are sold out on summit, get a DHM, warranty says it all.

Had my DMH for over 3 years, no problems except where I burnt through the wires from the exhaust, but that's my fault. And yes it will be ridiculously loud with LTs and an ORY. You'll see the place to mount it underneath the rear passenger seat after the y-pipe

I have a DMH And it works great, it just rattles. I called a few times and no return call.. It's rattling right at the butterfly flap.

Is the number you're calling 937-444-0900? He returned my call very quickly when I had my issue.

YEP that was the number I got of their site. I left a brief message with my problem and my number but no call back. I'll try again tomorrow.
