Default MSD Starter Video

Well I put on an MSD starter while doing my tranny rebuild. The stock one looked pretty rough so while it was off I figured why not. Took a quick video, kinda tough to tell a difference but it really sounds different when starting. Neat part, quality was good and if you care I have a really shiny starter down there!

Probably sounds different from having a different gear ratio.

Sounds nice.

quick question, so if you were able to use the msd starter, does that mean you can use any sbc starter on the lt1 as long as its for a 153 tooth flexplate?

I Have one too, but it doesn't fit with ARH 1 7/8 headers , so if anyone needs a brand new MSD starter with a few scratches just pm me.

I guess its the way the ARH headers hug the block right there, believe me I tried for a couple hours clocking it every which way, but no deal, like the guy above me said its a tight fit even with the stock starter.
