Default Left exhaust tip hotter than right?

Is this anything to be concerned about? Coloration inside the tip is the same.

On a stock type muffler the left side is more of a straight shot out where the right side is more of a ring around the rosey getting out.

my driver side pipes seem to be dominent when expelling exhaust on my Magnaflow muffler. It's kinda funny looking on cold morning start-ups

don't see why it would be... the exhaust gas is just trying to find the easiest way out. Just so happens it's the driver side. Doesn't take much for one side to flow better than the other. Could be anything causing it. One pipe being higher than the other, one pipe having more turns than the other, a merge in the pipe not centered absolutely in the middle, etc...

No biggie... if the gas needs more room to exit, it's not like the passenger side is blocked off. It'll find it's way out that way if it needs to...

Makes sense. But just a thought. Shouldn't it come out first and be hotter trough the passenger side since the the pipe over the axle is on the passenger side going into the muffler which would be closer to the passenger side exhaust tip.

My exhaust isn't stock and you read SOUL TKR's post. I'm asking that because what he said about finding the easiest way out.

really it all just depends on the internals of the muffler and how everything is routed and baffled... plus if the muffler is mounted on a slight angle, hot air rises so your exhaust will try to exit out the side of the muffler that is sitting higher.

really.... it's nothing to worry about at all...

curious... what's your exhaust setup?

Yeah I know it's not problem but just checking.

SLP lt's and ory with I believe a magnaflow catback. Car came with the catback and it has a magnaflow muffler so I'm guessing that's what it is.
