Default *update video*4" exaust with magnaflow race muffler and 4" tips (with pics)

I thought I would post some pictures of my exhaust system i just finished. It consist of a 3" y pipe into a 4" flowmaster merge.4" pipe up to the Magna flow race muffler under the rear passenger side floor pan. Then 4" pipe over the rear end and into another 4" flowmaster merge and used mandrel bent 3" pipe to make tail pipes. Hope to have a sound clip up this weekend.

Shot of the muffler ground clearance is pretty good.

The tail pipes i'm going to have to reroute my fuel line.

4" tips

The angle of this pic makes the tips look a little weird but it looks good from a standing side view.

Another view from the back so you get a better idea of ground clearance.

Looks pretty good, nice amount of clearance too. I like the way the tips are tucked up in there.

I had about 3 differnt set of tips holing them up. These were the only ones I liked. I figure people will either love or hate the 4" tips.

Very interesting! We are currently running the 4" through the Magnaflow to a single outlet, but I like the symmetry with the dual outlet.

I was going to run a single setup and thought I would give this a try and see how it turns out.

I try to get some more up soon. That muffler is about 5 inches thick. I didn't have to do any modification to the floor pan.

Hopefully this weekend. I have another thread going in the drag racing section. I relocated my fuse box underneath the car and i'm in the process of putting my wiring harness back together.

Looks good man.

Anybody else have sound clips, of a 4" exhaust? I've been thinking about switching to one, for a while.

I was always thinking about doing something similar but was afraid the merge would hurt power using it in reverse. Thats pretty sweet! Curious to sound and power from the setup would love to do the same one day.
