Default Help!!! Buying a camaro!!!!!

I am planning on going to see a 2000 Camaro ss tomorrow. It's in good shape and has an unknown cam, full exhaust, etc.
The guy says the chip in the key stopped working so it was bypassed somehow ?????? Is this Jerry rigged or what ?????

Next question, the abs and brake light are on, I believe the tires/rims are a different size than stock so is that probably why? The same thing happend with my formula. I need answers to those two questions! Please help me!

Bypassing the chip in the key is ok but i wouldn't buy it until you let a dealer look it over. don't be sorry.

they probably never bleed the brakes, old dirty fluid will cause problems with the abs selinolds and other brake related parts.how many miles? how much?mite be a bad wheel sensor.

52k 6500$ I figured it was too good to be true. I was going to take it to a tire kingdom by where the car is and use a snap on scanner. (I work for the tire kingdom Corprate store so I can get the scan for free)

the key chip is not a big deal. my friend simply lost his key so he bypassed it with the new one its totally safe and useless abs isnt a deal also assume its gone! you can get it for cheap id say check the engine and tranny first then decide with the minor things.

That sounds like a really good deal if its a real SS and is clean, both those are minor issues. I would get it.

Carfax it, and check Kelley's Blue Book. $6500 is less than a dealer trade in for only a fair quality car, and a private party sale pulls a higher price. Ask him why he's leaving a couple grand on the table.
