Default What to do with downstream O2 sensors LT install

Ok bought a used set of Pacesetter LTs with catted y pipe for my 2000 WS6. The headers have the bungs for the O2 sensor the y pipe doesn't. What do I do with my stock downstream sensors? Do they unplug or is there other majic to delete them? Help I have the exhaust removed to the cats and the bolts are loose, would like to know before I take the cats off. Thanks

you can simply unplug them but that will set the SES light on, or you can add 2 O2 bungs just take it to exhaust shop its pretty easy. or delete rear O2 sensors by hp tuner or you can use O2 sims. either ways it wont effect performance wt so ever

I just used zip ties to move them outta the way and had them deleted. Better than soma since once it.is deleted you never have to worry about it again

You'll want a good tune anyway, so I'd save the money on simulators (assuming you can find them in good shape) and spend that $$ on the tune which will delete the codes for the rear O2's!

I believe the Secondary O2's simply do a double-check to make sure the Cat's are working.
The Simulator's are rarely sold 'new' anymore because of regulations.
You can occassonally find them as 'used' parts for sale in the forums, & sometimes even Ebay.
The best thing to do, find a local speed shop who can 'tune them out' & go that way.
Sim's will cost you at least $50-100+.
Tune may be $200-400 depending on how far you go with it.
Heck, some shops will do the Secondary-O2 tune-out for a few bucks & walk away.
#1) Find a local shop.

And always read the stickies:

You can buy O2 sims new, but don't forget they're for "off-road/track use only!"

Get a mail order tune from Frost. You will get the most gains and have the codes deleted.
