Exclamation Anyone know where I can find this hose???

Needing the one that runs from the brake booster to the drivers side valve cover. I also need to know about the one that runs from the front passenger side of the intake manifold. Part numbers would be sweet! I'll post up pics of what I need if anyone can't understand me.

Also, needing the part number for the starter bolts and needing something to block off the water pump outlets that used to go to my HVAC.

have you tried your local auto parts store? i mean i could try to hunt down the part numbers, the easiest to find would be the starter bolts. hoses would be a little harder.

A local GM dealer will give you all the part numbers you want. Then you can search the part numbers on sponser pages on this site or ebay ETC.... til you find the price your looking for.

Is there any other hose that I could use instead of the OEM hose? I know it has a different end that fits perfect into the valve cover.

I can't get my gm dealer to give me the part number. Said there are too many people getting it from them and buying it on the internet. He told me it was $41 too. I was just like wow. I hate our dealer.

Just use bulk hose any local auto parts would have it...

There are black rubber caps (look like big vacuum caps) in the help section there too you can use to put on the water pump to block the outlets. they are made for it and i believe the sizes used are 3/4 and 5/8.

Starter bolts you should get from the dealer or a sponsor. You want to make sure they are aluminum like from the factory.

UUMMM, how 'bout somebody give this guy his part numbers?

Brake booster hose: 10277331
Inboard/short starter bolt: 12561848 (new number, original number was 12555160)
Outboard/long starter bolt: 11588456 (new number, original number was 12561387)

Look up the pricing at Parts Taxi.

I'll need to know exactly what the other hose is.

GM never made a heater hose block off, you'll need to Home Depot it.

Brake booster hose is not a valid part number.

Sure is. 10277331 is $8.49 at Parts Taxi.

I have the GM 1993-2002 Firebird parts catalog.

By chance, this was posted in another thread. It clearly shows the heater hoses plugged with allen drive pipe plugs. I'm sure one is 5/8 and the other 1/2 inch.

Don't get distracted by the intake

The hose from the brake booster goes to the back of the intake, not the valve cover. the power brakes won't work very well hooked to the cover.

You could use a bulk vacuum hose cut to length. You just need to use the 90 degree fitting that connects to the booster as it contains a check valve.
