Need help deciding please help pic
Ok i need an opinion, i had my y pipe done at an exhaust shop and as u can see its crap, so i decided to buy an aftermarket one from a friend he said he believes it to be a QTP ypipe but not sure the thing is that this y pipe that he sold me is sweet
Well anyways what should i do, should i just tell the exhaust shop to take this off along with the single chamber flowmaster mufflrrs but the new y pipe and run without a muffler or should i keep at least one and weld it somewhere im just not sure what to do?

Well, without a muffler the car will be extremely loud, and sound like crap. And yes that pic of the Ypipe shows that whoever did that made it like junk. It is terrible, Also never in my life have I seen mufflers coming off headers and then into a Ypipe,, that too is a terrible idea. Use the QYP Ypipe and hook it into your headers, then choose the exhaust of your choice.. I run the TSP rumbler cat-back system, fit great and sounds killer.
I would just buy a bolt in system because the fit will be good and will exhaust out the back of the car. You can prolly sell those flowmaster mufflers.

I'd be taking that **** back and making him do it over again... and right this time.
He works at an exhaust shop and he doesnt know what a y-pipe should look like?
If thats the quality of work you are to expect from that shop, I'd be finding a new shop to do work on my car.
But thats just me.

Wasnt trying to sound like I was bashing you. I DO however think you need to stick up for yourself and tell them to make it right. That thing is embarrassing... I cant believe the owner of the exhaust shop let something like that pass, thats no way to send a message saying "we build quality exhaust systems"

you could fix it.move the left tube back 6".cut the left tube after the muffler and where it joins the right pipe.add more tube after the left muffler, about 6" .cut a new hole in the right pipe ,6" farther back.use the cut out piece to seal the old hole.go to the exhaust thread for a good pic and fix.
