Default AIR removal

I am finishing up my race headers install on my 00 z28, and I am trying to find out what to do with the vacuum line at the back of the intake that are for the AIR (I have been searching and looking at stickys but they all seem to be old and missing pics), thanks

I found a screw that fitted tight and put a little silicone on the threads and plugged it.

I broke it on accident and now I can't get back there to reach it so it is open. Nothing seems to be wrong with the car, is that blocked off required?

Yeah I am removing my EGR and AIR from a 99 LS1, going with ARH race headers. I have the EGR delete plug for the intake...do I need something for the AIR system as well?
