Default 2002 motor in 1998 dash not working

I installed a 2002 motor trans, engine wiring harness, and computer out of an 02 TA in a 1998 camaro. Where the wiring goes into the passenger kick panel the 98 engine harness had 3 plugs (21 wires) the 02 engine harness has 2 plugs (16 wires). The car starts and runs but the only thing that works on the dash it the fuel gauge. Does any know the best way to fix this? Do I just need to re pin the connectors if so does someone have a diagram?

Coolant temp sensor is different. Yes, re-pin. Try in the "Conversion/Hybrid" section. Guys build everything & anything LSX there. Someone is bound to have a diagram for you. Good-luck & welcome.

Why did you install the 2002 harness and computer? It would have been easier to use the 98 brain and harness.

Engines are identical. Use 98 sensors and wiring harness...problem solved

Off the top of my head the coolant temp sensor is different and I believe the crank and cam sensor possibly...
