Default Best exhaust clamps to go with TSP set up

I have the TSP 1 7/8" headers and true duals dumped. The clamps always end up leaking aftrt a couple months. i normally use permatex exhaust sealant. are there any better clamps i can use or should i try switchkng to high temp rtv? thanks!!

Use the soft malleable band-clamps. Pep-boys has them sometimes, usually not enough on the shelf for a whole system. Jegs, Summit, whatever should have them, too. Usually about $6-8 each.

my local napa carries quite a few band clamps of the same size in stock. i imagine you'll need 3''

Because one pipe goes into the other they arent the same size all the way through. ive heard band clamps still always end up leaking. any other advice?

Matt thats what comes witg the exhaust i bought from you guys and i cannot get them to stop leaking.

Get the ones that aren't variable diameter; just a straight 3" band clamp.

I don't have TSP's setup, mines all ebay.
I used 3" stepped band clamps from jeg's (stainless steel). I've had no leaking issues with them at all. As a matter of fact, other than the headers (to the block), everything is just clamped...with the exception of the mufflers which are bolted to the rear seat buckets.
