Default ahould i trade my 01 supercharged gt mustang for 01 z28 camaro?

My mustang is in good shape with 118k auto with a vortech supercharger. Its a DD and been supercharged since new. Its lowered with Salerno wheels and otherwise stock, the Camaro is in pretty good shape, pewter t-tops lowered with 18" zo6 wheels but other than that it is stock with 153k on it. Runs and shifts good (auto) leaks a little oil and PS fluid but so does mine. How are the ls1 compared to the 4.6 in longevity? Are they as good a motor and transfer as the Ford? Is it a fair trade?

Naw keep it and put you an LSX crate motor in there. How do think all them mustangs are running 9 sec quartermile times. They are everwhere!

Or should I just do a ls1 swap on my 94 LT1? That car is mint and looks brand new

Sadly said I think your mustang is worth more than the Camaro. Also in my humble opinion, the 4.6 (even the 4 valve) sucks. Ive owned a 4.6 mod motor and you throw so much money at it to make power its redic. Also consider this, your mod motor is about 281 ci, the camaro is 348 ci. You gain over 60ci ! One thing my old man taught me a long time ago: There is no replacement for cubic inches or cubic dollars.

What do you want from a car? Of course the guys here are gonna say get an LS1...do you want more power? Autocross? Street friendly? Are emissions an issue?

My take on it is you've owned the stang for a long time and you know exactly what you've got with it. The camaro your in the dark on. I'd keep the mustang and LS swap the 94. I'd hate to see you get someone elses headache espescially with 150k on it theres a good chance you will.

I would keep what you have, not take the risk of unknowns on the 153k camaro. That's up there in miles. I also like the idea of a new LSX crate motor into your LT1.

LT1s are sleepers either built up or with an LSx swap.

Seriously though, what do you WANT? That would help us determine.

The lt1 is the garage queen, think I will do a ls1 swap with h/c and call it at day. The mustang is a comfy DD and so would the ls1 if I got it but I think ill just do the swap...the stang. Is pretty sweet.

English? You keeping the stang or trading? Why the LT1 as the garage queen?

The mustang is comfortable to drive every day, the ls1 camaro would be just as comfortable to drive in my opinion as well. but I think I'm going to swap the lt1 powered car to a lsx style motor. The mustang is pretty nice.

translated lol ?

+1 in LS1 to swap in your LT1, your mustang have way better mileage, you can find a good shape LS1 for a good price.

I agree with this ^. My vote is to keep the Stang - enjoy it as is and build up your LT1. An LS1 swap would do you some good.
