Putting a lq4 into my foxbody and trying to figure out what every1 does with the steam tubes? i'd like to connect the rears as well. i was thinking about tapping them 1/8'' npt and running lines that way and connecting to up front but how should i go from there? using a alum rad for the fox

I sent you a pm with the website that has adapers to put an fittings for your steam pipes without any modification to your heads. I ran my steampipes eternally over the heads with rubber hose. If i can send you pics of how they are run.

86, welcome to LS1tech!

It's a good idea to retain and use the rear steam fittings.

thanks paul, right now it has the blockoffs on the back and i knw how the mod motors(03-04 cobra mainly) have cooling issues in the rear cylinders as well. since i plan on spraying this i want it "safe" lol. this setup will be interesting cause its goin in my notch which is setup for 8.50's. my old sbf/turbo it went 9.27@134 lifting so a nice shot will make this interesting

I like the color!

Nice ride.

You just need some LSX stickers on it....

this is how i have my steam pipes run up over the intake manifold. I need to pull them back off and do some trimming, but it is working fine for now.
