Solid mounts on the street
Is anyone running solid mounts on the street in a 4th gen ls1.
My stock mounts are shot. Must be replaced this winter.
Looking at spohn tubular mounts. Please let me know if your have or had these and how the car was to drive on the street.

I put mine on about 3 weeks ago along with my headers. I "feel" the car a LOT more.
There is some vibration at idle, not bad. There's a sweet spot though to taking off in first gear. If you try to baby it it'll vibe an buzz like crazy.
It just takes a little getting used to. Its my daily driver, but I wanted a pony car. I like it like this. Everyone has their own preference though.

I wish I had gotten this "feel" from my poly mounts. If I had to do it all over again I would have done solids. I DD my car, but I am the type of person that likes a raw feel when it comes to vehicles.

I have solid motor mounts on my car with the MS4 and all i can say is that the car feels very solid. the only thing i hate about it is that it makes harder to swap out a clutch and that my mirrors constantly shake.
