If a car is running lean it would be the exact opposite of rich like if it was backfiring and what not but a few other things can cause popping I'm sure but obviously u said its running rich ....I'm not real sure what it would be but I'd start cheap and buy some Maf sensor cleaner....let it dry for at least 15 mind and put the Maf back on and see if that helps at all

I don't think it would cause the idle to ramp...normally when a car is having problems holding vacuum it will just idle a little higher to create more vacuum depending on size of leak....most of the time u can hear if its sucking air from somewhere it shouldn't be....now I'm not saying its definitely the maf but due to me having a similar situation that would be my guess.....is it throwing any codes?
With that said I would definitely still check for leaks like stroked nova suggested

Couldn't watch second video....how I checked my maf is had it running plugged up....ran like crap...unplugged connector...idle stopped jumping plugged back up car died but Idk if they always die when u plug it in while running but every time it was plugged in it ran terrible and every time it wasn't the idle was consistent but if u say it ran better with a different one that could be part of the problem but I would definitely get the hose first and see what it does as its obviously the cheaper route
