Very elaborate, I'd say some sort of air related sensor, check your tb too.. Possibly a little fuel problem too.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak

vacuum leak or tune issue would be my guess. start it up and spray starting fluid of carb fluid around the intake manifold and vacuum lines to see if it changes the way it runs.

If its a vaccine leak wouldn't it just stay at a high idle? An not go from 1000 to 1500 then 500 to 2000

When car first ran fine was when tps not set an no hole drilled in tb so I'm gonna block hole an leave the tps alone cause its set an see how it runs

Usually. I would try an IAC and then doing a proper idle relearn. Vacuum leaks will also show up in short term fuel trim data. Vacuum leaks tend to cause a constant high idle or a high idle when cold, some will seal up when the engine gets hot, but it's not erratic like what you are describing.

Try to avoid using brake or carb cleaner to find vacuum leaks, many a car went up in flames using that method. I heard lots of stories from the old timers I worked with for years and have seen fires myself. Use non flammable brake clean, or a spray bottle with water.
