No have you tried a tune up? You probably have gunked up injectors seafoam in the tank.

Whens the last time you changed your spark plugs? And you've said you changed your sensors right? Absoulutly no vaccum leaks? Motor issue possibly? Throwing any codes? And if your going for a new throttle body, you might as well send your core out for a ported one.

Maybe I'm showing my ignorance here but does your set up requires that big an idle bleed hole in the blade?

Describe your idle issue please.

The slightly rough blade edges shouldn't case any trouble. Is the blade "sticky" at closed throttle. This could cause erratic idle. What caused this part of your new TB to be marked up like that?

I don't think it's your throttle body, If it was, I think it would an abvious tell.
How did all this come about again? When was it running fine, and when did it start acting like ****?

i did not drill that bleed hole that is how it came to me from summit, i did not alter it in any way. the face of the blade got scratched in shipping due to they shipped the screws sitting on top of the blade. it did not have that rough edge on the bottem tho that is new. ive had no issues with a sticky blade it always opens smoothly.

From a quick search on Summit. All T-bodies that you could see the blades in did not have a bleed hole in them. You count not see the blades on the Summit brand T-bodies. The hole might be necessary but here's a quick free test to see if it's a factor in your idle issue. Put a piece of good duck tape (gorilla tape!) on the airfilter side of the blade only covering the hole. See if it helps or solves your idle problem. DO NOT drive it with the tape in place. This is just for testing.

What is your idle problem?
My first thought on seeing your pictures was "damn that's a big idle bleed hole..."
It appears most LS T-bodies do not have them

Mine does. It's a stock 2000 t-body.

Thanks Sepsis!
Guess I really should have gone out and checked the one in my 02 SS donor car. I feel a bit silly.

Sepsis wins!

OP, disregard the previous suggestion with the tape. It probably will not idle at all with that hole closed...

I've got no other free tips to offer...

That hole balances the idle, bigger hole, higher idle.
If it's not internal which it could be, or dirty injectors, Then I'm convinced it's a vaccum leak.

Seafoam would take care of dirty injectors if you wanna give it a shot. If it's not throwing any codes than I'd tune it and see what happens. I'd pm frost, and tell him whats going on, unless you have another tuner.

You will never "feel" a difference from putting injector cleaner in unless one of the was totally blocked up which would throw a misfire code....best way to clean them is to soak tips in seafoam off the car
