Default Volant CAI or Lid for my T/A

I decided to make my first mod for my 99 T/A. But I'm not sure if i should get an SLP lid or spend the money on a Volant CAI. Any suggestions?

If cost is a concern and your only doing bolt on mods, I think the lid is a good buy/upgrade.

volant claims 11 HP, SLP claims 10 HP unless I buy their flow pac claiming 25 HP. Does anyone know how true these #s are?

If you have the money to burn...by all means, get the CAI. I think your going the route you need vs. want.

get a lid, FRA mod, nice filter and be done with it.

How will u clean a volant CAI fiilter? Are they easy to find? With the lid u can keep it clean and find replacement filters easy

They are easy to clean. I put amsoil filters on so no oil is needed for easy cleaning. 3" conical filters are easy to find, in the rare event you mistake your air filter for a chair.

I'd do a lid with a Chrs1313 Ram Air intake.
