I'd go with stainless if price isn't an issue. I'm always reading how the ceramic will crack and chip off after time.

Stainless.... I went to a car show last week and every car with ceramic coated headers basically the headers looked as old as the cars. Ceramic wears off in a year or two then its going to rust

1 7/8 for sure. There have been a few tests and 1 7/8 make a lil more power even on stock motors.

There are bits & pieces of rust on my ceramics. They have never seen rain, but I have a cold garage floor which contributes to condensation on cold metal.
I believe that the rust is a result of flaws in the ceramic coating process.
Having to do it again, I'd purchase stainless.
I've read that some folks who have stainless, end up with blue/black discoloration, over time.

But dont you lose some power if your running stock with 1 and 7/8 headers?

No. You will gain a few up top. And have something to grow into that will benefit you when it's time for the heads/cam etc.

Go stainless for sure.
